Privacy
Your privacy
You can read the whole book, browse the accounts, and use the facts without an account and without us collecting anything about you.
If you create an account
An account is only needed to save highlights, notes and bookmarks. When you create one we store:
- your email address (to sign you in and secure the account);
- a name, if you choose to add one, used only to greet you;
- the highlights, notes and bookmarks you make, linked to your account.
That information is stored on our behalf by Supabase, our database provider. Each account can only ever see its own data. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for advertising, and we don’t use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
On your device
A few preferences — your chosen fact categories, your last reading position, and whether you’ve dismissed the beta notice — are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. They never leave your device unless you’re signed in.
Your choices
You can delete any highlight, note or bookmark at any time from the Account pages. To delete your account and everything in it, contact the team and we’ll remove it.
This is a beta project run by a small team; this notice may be updated as the project grows.
