Ọ̀wọ́ni (Ọọ̀ni) of Ifẹ̀
The title of the kings of Ilé-Ifẹ̀, the sacred cradle of the Yoruba race. The Ọọ̀ni is reckoned foremost among the crowned obas, Ifẹ̀ being honoured as the spiritual origin of the kingdoms.
